Not unique to Chinese. It could happen with any SKS. See YouTube for how to clean your bolt so that this will not happen.

I have not heard of this product before, but I'm not surprised that somebody came up with a fix. Thanks for the heads up, I'll check it out.

The rifles definitely look better once all the Cosmoline is cleaned off of them and polished up a bit . As described they are Military Surplus and will show character

Who said anything about Century ? That is how it gets twisted around on the internet.

I think F = Fair and G = Good condition

Yup you're right. There's even FI (fair incomplete) and GI (good incomplete). Don't recall off hand what Classic rated theirs. But is important thing to consider when buying. Just found that out reading the Board.

I just ordered one from Classic, guaranteed all matching #s. With the cheaper shipping, it wasn't that much more. I'll post pictures when received.
