Mosin symbol help

Hello,

I was looking at a Mosin and wondered what all the marks mean. I can't seem to get a definitive answer. It is a nice looking rifle and the stock is in decent shape. I was wondering if it is anything special.

Well, the obvious is it's an Izzy rearsenal

However, in the 1st pic, not sure what the + in the circle or what looks like a star in a circle is. Star possibly a Star of David?

I have been checking the website but I am still at a loss on the symbols. I know of the Arrow and the Hammer & Sickle. The rest is all new to me. I am particularly interested in the symbols above the date stamp. Looks lie a "F" in a circle and the double square stamp. The other one is the one on the side of the receiver. Not sure what to make of it.

The Circle K is just an aiming proof, meaning that the rifle was sighted-in.

I see a few refurb marks. The circle with a cross is probably just some unknown inspector stamp.

One thing you have to get used to is that a lot of the markings on Mosins, especially random inspector markings have no known meaning.

I don't see anything unusual on there. Y in circle is final black powder proof. K in circle is point of aim.

Circle with a cross in it is some sort of refurb marking IIRC.

It is your run-of-the-mill M91/30 Mosin Nagant.

I could be wrong, but the 1943 in last photo was the year of manufacture.

It's always nice to find a hidden gem with some significance to it's history, but what is most important is that you like it not for what it might be, but for what it is. If you can't wait to take it out to the range and it brings a smile to your face with each trigger pull, then that is all that matters.

Thanks for the info. The rifle is at Cabela's in Reno. They have a few on the racks. Most are counter bored but the stocks are in decent shape. None come with bayonets or accessories. I was there, checking them out, looking for something more significant.
