Question Re: C&R in State Transfer

I know you can do a FTF cash and carry transfer for a C&R rifle over 50 years old... is it okay to make the sale, and have the rifle shipped(paper free) between private parties that both reside in CA? Thank you for your help.

There's no law against it. But most people won't do it because it's too hard to verify that you are really shipping to an 18+ year old California resident.

Great, that was my understanding of the law. Thanks for chiming in!
