...no doubt only three rounds in each of those AR mags lol. There is not enough ammo right now to fill that many mags. The way I see it, off paper is not worth it. You can be the stubborn republican and claim freedom of rights and not register your required weapons, or you can lose all your rights if they catch you with an illegal weapon. Now dont get me wrong, I dont agree with gun registry and most of the other gun laws, but gun owners make the problem worse when they post pictures like this and try to protest by not registering their guns. How much good can a person do from prison???? This paints the liberals image of gun owners=republicans who dont want to respect the law. Lets work to change the law not break it. After all, is a registration fee worth a felony?? You may be like the majority of Pot smokers, "oh it wont happen to me, or I have not been pulled over in years I will be alright with my off paper hanguns or...soon to be long guns." If you get caught though, then you will be one more statistic for the liberals to claim as a victory. Like NOTABIKER said, if you cant enjoy it then why have it. Boy do I wish my gun stash looked like that picture though lol Remember, the liberals look for any small reason to change the law. A kid with a bb gun, will trigger the ban of tubular magazines or the like. Lets not give them any reason to paint gun owners as fanatics, who have no regard for gun laws(even if we dont). IMHO pictures like this do little good to aid our cause.

I was almost about to put TL;DR.

On second thought: The fed and state can't regulate what they don't know about. They can bust you for stuff you can't have on guns you own...

...but how can they bust you on a gun they DON'T know you have?

Think of things this way. The criminals will still have guns, but so will those that government DOESN'T know have guns. It's not illegal, just undocumented. Only the good guys play by the rules, or they don't play at all.
Anyway...here's a dearth of reasoning to ponder: http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Guns

I could not agree more! Lets say you take on off list hand gun to the range and on the odd chance you get caught....boom what I mentioned above....its a kick in the @$$ either way.

I don't always collect guns, but when I do I prefer wood.

            Shoot safely my friends.

I don't have many "modern" weapons that will be impacted by the stupidity in Sacramento but I've already made arrangements to store any affected hardware out of state. Sucks for sure but they'll be waiting for me when I retire in March of 2015 and leave this place for good.

List? I turned all my scary guns in at the last buy back

Alls I have left is a Red Ryder with a magazine block for single shot.
