    Excellent collection, well done.

Is the Shirley No. 8 the .22lr that we used to call the Parker Hale in the UK?

Welcome. Beautiful collection. I am partial to Enfield as I was trained on them. I can't wait to own my first one.

5th Batt, you got it real bad! Impressive collection sir!
Pretty much but not all semi's are restricted, i have a Chiappa M1-22 that is classed as a "A-cat sporting rifle" that can be owned on a basic firearms license, a M.S.S.A (Military Style Semi Automatic) requires a E endorsement on your license & must be registered.
All my rifles fall under the A-cat definition as i only have the basic license & the good thing about that is, none are registered & don't need to be, i can own as many as i want/can store securely & I'm less likely to be subjected to a random security check, i only have to deal with the 10 yearly license renewal check which for me, is next year.

5th Batt, your 1892 Winchester caught my eye. See my thread and post the numbers, and I can give you a proper date on it. A gentleman is doing a survey on the 1892's to compile data for a comprehensive resource on them, I'm sure he would be interested in yours. I'll dig up his contact info you.

Very nice! The only Enfield I have is an Australian Lithgow No.1 Mk.III* made in 1941. I used to have a Fazakerley No.4 Mk.2, but I sold it.
