Anyone shoot Privi Partizan 30-06 in their milsurp?

I bought some 150 gr FMJ to shoot in my 1903 and 03a3. I wanted something better than the Korean surplus I picked up a few years ago. I heard good things about it.

Not exactly answering your question but I have used the Prvi in my 8mm's and it is hands down more accurate than 90's yugo/czech/turk or any other surplus round I have fired through my Mauser's and non corrosive to boot.

Good reloadable brass, too. Prvi Partizan has a reputation for making the most "milspec" brass out there, having thick cases which is good for longevity. Their .303 British is probably the best brass outside of HXP surplus for brass longevity, and their 6.5x55 Swedish brass actually has the correct rim diameter of .480", unlike American manufacturers who just use the same rim diameter as .30-06/.308 at .473", which is technically incorrect. If you've loaded .30-06 on Swedish Mauser stripper clips for use in American rifles like the 1903, you'll find it's kinda "loose", but if you put correct rim diameter 6.5 in them, it's snug in the clips, as it should be.

PPU makes a 150 gr Garand safe round that I've used. I like the brass too. I'm shooting all reloads now, though.

I agree with all of the above. Whether off the shelf or for reloading, I've never had a problem with Privi.

I have Prvi 8mm and it is great. Can't think why their .30-06 would be any different although I prefer HXP, shoot it and reload it, great brass.

Thanks for the replies. I'll save the brass for future reloading.

                    Great ammo.

The only gripe I have is that their .30 Carbine ammo is really dirty.

The 165 gr. PSP/BT is a little hot... so I'd make sure to use a Ported Gas Plug if you shoot an M1 Garand.
