    Crate O' Mosin's Question...

If I snag a crate of Mosin's from Classic, do i pay FFL fee's per rifle, or is it per transaction?

I'm sure some of you have done this before - what's the scoop?

I think it depends on your FFL but I don't believe it is a per rifle fee. Shop around and ask. Or, get your 03 FFL!!!!!

I believe you can do up to seven long guns per day. That is this year, not sure about 2014.

why would that be? there is not statutory limit to the number of long guns you may DROS at one time.

and there is nothing in the regulations for next year how long guns will be DROSed, so we don't know if you will be able to do multiple long guns on one DROS, or if it will be $25 for the first one + $21 for each additional DROS like it is for handguns for those 30-day exempt transfers.

Sorry for the slightly off topic question but how many rifles are in a "crate"?

                    $3000? + $200-300 Shipping +CA Tax + $200-300 DROS/Transfer fee.
                    is it worth it?

I was thinking more along the line of their crate of 5 - 20 is pushing it a bit - can't yet see needing that many.

Contrary to others here, I've spent a while seeing Big 5 Mosin's with what look to me to be pretty worn bores - I'm using this as my guide...

Alright, I'll cave. I have to admit, I do not know how to inspect the bore of a weapon. To me, it all looks the same - spirals coming out toward the light. Is there something in particular I am looking for, or a certain way to do it? This whole time I thought I was on top of things, but as of...

Figured I'd beat myself up less by buying 5 and being able to shot them and select the 2 best...

It's only worth it if it's a crate of Finnish M28/30s

I collect Military Arms and enjoy shooting in local matches. I also collect older Lever Actions, especially those chambered in odd/old cartridges. If you have a nice old Winchester or Marlin in 25-20, 32-40, 38-55, 40-60, 45-70, etc etc, please PM me and we can work out a deal.

classic sent me ..6 hex, rest rounds..some tula/ some izshevek,

all appeared in pretty dam good shape. 6 crates of ammo can fit under the crate..on the shipping crate. I would buy more ammo as they could of stacked more on there. If you don't have an ffl..then I think its nto worth it, unless you have money to burn.

only thing that was kind of bull**** is no leashes
