Looking for an extractor spring for an FN Hi Power (early internal extractor)

Spent lunchtime browsing all the usual suspects. I couldn't see to find one? Anyone got any ideas? I am assuming the spring is different than the ones for later (post 1963) external extractors ?

Gun is a late 40s FN hi power

    Thanks in advance.

Will the ones from Wolff gunsprings work?

Not sure if they are for internal or external extractor.. or if there is a difference?

C&Rtrader, been awhile since I had one apart, but I seem to remember the early style internal extractor being like a Colt 1911. So there would be no spring. Have you taken it apart yet? Most times a good cleaning and lube will have it working again.
What's it doing or not doing?

Funny... i just assumed there would be one in there. If i am going to take it apart to that level i wanted to have a new ($3) spring to put in there.
massive FTEs. Usually leaves spent round half out of the chamber.
might find a detailed youtube video and see what i can find. Thanks for the tip

I did remember right, took a minute for that brain cell to fire up. Firing pin and extractor come out like a 1911. Years ago I was taking apart an Inglis P-35. Not paying attention, the firing pin and spring launched. Caught the outside edge of my lower right eye lid. Still have a little white scar to remind me.

Yup, no spring. Sarco has the internal ones in stock. Teeth on mine were chipped. Hopefully this fixes it.
