Yup. Have an original I bought which is on the G43 -
it can go on this if it goes out on a job where it's important to be original.

Yes - I think I paid between $180 and $250 for the original G43 sight hood (which is the same as is used on the Mp44) - if you have a cheaper source let me know.
I know they were pennies years ago - but, I wasn't collecting then
Mp44 parts kits were $170 10 years ago - they sell very quickly for $4000+ now.
I found a box of original K98 sights, and chose the one with longest relief for the Mp44-

SARCO used to carry a very good spring steel copy and I have several as well as originals. Can't hurt to check them out. I think I will gather my originals back and mount my copies. At $200 ea I think I will bank them. LOL!
