    Aim Surplus 1903

Aim Surplus has 5 US Springfield M1903A3 rifles left. I don't know if it is a good deal, but I know some people on here were looking for one.

Curious to see what people think. I want one.
Will AIM shop to FFL01 without any issues?

You should know James River has been known to use welded drill rifles in their builds. They never seem to mention it in any of their adds
If interested in one of their rifles I would ask them first

the fact they did it even once in their history is enough for me to pass on anything they sell.

I'd love to get one of those and sporterize it, maybe throw some high end Barska optics on it.

It really depends on how they were converted to drill rifles. Most 1903s were converted by tack welding the bolt closed, and tacking the magazine disconnector.

These are not SMLEs that had a bid hole drilled in the chamber, or the barrel filled with lead.

I wouldn't be afraid of one.
