Underwood was the third highest producer after Inland and Winchester so it isn't more rare/valuable. Are there any importer markings on the side of barrel or elsewhere? If not the $800-850 estimate is ballpark.

That sounds right to me. Here is an Underwood that just sold for $850, which was too low, because it was an Austrian. I already have an Austrian but I would have snatched that one up had I seen the ad in time.
