Looks to be in good condition, should fetch about $800-850.00 -
It is a typical USGI M1 Carbine that was rebuilt and updated after World War II, as were most of them. Underwood was the third highest producer after Inland and Winchester so it isn't more rare/valuable. Are there any importer markings on the side of barrel or elsewhere? That sounds right to me. Here is an Underwood that just sold for $850, which was too low, because it was an Austrian.
