    C&R question...

A C&R question: I know that it's only good for your current residence and, if you move, you have to reapply. However, if your license hasn't expired, is that another $30, or do they 'move' it for free?

I can't answer your question, but have you tried calling ATF licensing. They are usually very helpful and informative with these kinds of issues.

YOu sure about that? IIRC, you can file to amend the FFL to your new location, http://www.atf.gov/forms/pdfs/f530038.pdf .

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

When you got your C&R FFL, you should have been sent a whole binder full of regulations, etc. I don't know how many people read through it (I know I only read that parts that I was interested in), but I'm sure the answer is in there.

            There is no fee
You need to fill out the form "Application for an Amended Federal Firearms License"
