Another Romanian.

Today I added another Romanian to my collection. A Romanian contract Beretta 1934. She ain't that pretty but I get to check it off my list. Today was my first time using my FFL 03 + COE combo. I bought this gun on Gunbroker and had shipped to a local FFL. Got to walk out with it as soon as the DROS was processed. Here are som pics:

I also got a quick question. When logging it in my bound book, do I list the FFL that I bought it from or the FFL that received it here in California? Thanks.

Is that 9mm Luger? The only thing that puts me off from C&R handguns is the oddball calibers most shoot.

It's .380. I passed on an Astra today just because it shoots 9mm Largo. I have enough oddball calibers in my rifles, don't need another one. I'm still searching for other odd C&R handguns that shoot more common calibers. Hopefully that law doesn't pass so I can take my time.

I've been craving some C&R pistols (my safe can't fit any more rifles anyway). I'm still kicking myself for not buying that CZ when I had the chance. I finally landed a Makarov last month off the marketplace...super fun to shoot.

Getting to be about time for a trip out to Prescott, no?

I'm in the same boat, no room for rifles but I can squeeze in a couple more pistols. I think I'm gonna skip Prescott this year. The only pistol J&G has that I don't is the Yugo M-57. Not worth the trip for only one pistol. If the other local FFL's had websites where you could browse their inventory I would think about it.

I also found a local FFL that has decent transfer fees. And with my 03 + COE combo it's only one trip.
