    Selling a C&R Handgun?

These aren't cash and carry have to go thru a FFL and DROS'd right?
What if the buyer has a 03 C&R?

Doesn't matter. Unless it is a pre-1898 antique, the sale between two California residents of a hand gun must go through an 01 FFL and be DROS'd.

Have to take it to an 01 FFL then.

Legal to sell out of state to an 03FFL w/out involving 01 FFL. You can even ship.
