    Where were my 03s?

    Hey guys,

I have a few 03s and 03A3s and I'd like to look into finding more on their history. Is there any resource I can look at to find where my rifles served?

You can find serial number lists for manufacture, but good luck on much of anything else. Some modifications, like a gas relief port added to USMC rifles, (I have been told) and such will help, as will stock cartouches and stampings on the receiver, but it takes an Egyptologist to decipher those at times.

Anything is possible but highly unlikely you will find where your rifles served. Good luck with your endeavor.

          No.
          Revolvers are not pistols

pistol nouna handgun whose chamber is integral with the barrel
Calling a revolver a "pistol" is like calling a magazine a "clip", calling a shotgun a rifle, or a calling a man a woman.
