found Swedish 96/38 is it worth it

I need your wisdom,I have found very clean, 90% bluing, all matching numbers 96/38, bore is nice and shiny,I have not done bullet test, the price is 350.00 one thing is bothering me, on the side round plate it has the triangle stamps on #1 and #2 which indicates the barrel condition, what do you guys make of this, it looks like this but way better condition stock and all

I think a guy had one made in 1899 and it was going for less. He was a dealer in Costa Mesa.

A "2" barrel is still a good barrel.

However, you realize that the number stamped in the bore condition segment of the stock disk is the barrel condition at the last inspection...whenever that was.

I have a Swedish 96 with a "3" barrel... It's one of my most accurate rifles...

Looks neat! That adjustable rear sight is worth a good penny too. For $350 it's a good deal, but don't any pay more than that.

Just so I understand...the link is NOT to the gun you are actually considering. The link is to a rifle that looks like the one you are considering, except the one you are considering is nicer?
