Finnish M28-76 target if i am not mistaken, didn't those have rear diopter sights?

Indeed a Finnish M28-76 target rifle. Yes they do have diopters that mount on the left side of the receiver but this one did not come with it. My shooting buddy Arnie has one just like this (we actually bought it at the same time from the same seller) with a diopter setup.

Bob, I bought this one without the diopter and would not mind having one if one is available for a good price. Do you know someone selling one? Not in a rush as I will shoot it with the barrel mounted sight as I several Swedish CG-63s and CG-80s target rifles which are all decent shooters.

I've loaded some rounds for this M28-76 and will take it out Tuesday and see if I can hit anything with it. I just wish the barrel is a little longer and heavier like on the Swedish CG-63s and CG-80s.

Yep.

The Finns built them off of standard CG M28/30s.

I'm jealous, my 28/30 needs a target rifle sibling!

Nice mines a little more beat up and missing the front diopter sight but for the price I couldn't beat it.

I need to shoot it accurate as hell I hear.
