Aren't the Romanians made in the early 60's? If so, it won't help us C&Rs in California much.
Still, if you can find one cheap, grab it. There can't be many left for export.

I talked to someone who told me he called - and that they were sold out. I understand they dated from 1956. So C&R OK in Cali was OK.

called today. woman said they were taking backorders...available at the end of the summer. they are 56's ,varying from good to exellent.

I just got off the phone with them. Price is now $269.99 for good to excellent. One price. She says that covers both and you can't specify which. They'll know more mid-July and should be ready to send at the end of the summer.

You can back-order right now and orders are on a first come, first serve basis. So, if you want one best to call and get yourself in line. They'll take your credit card info, but won't charge until they have them.
