YUGO-CHINESE SKS QUALITY

i took out my yugo 59/66 and my late chinese SKS and was looking at them. part for part the yugo seems to have better machine work and the parts are built beefer. the chinese is noticeably lighter. i like them both . maybe it is just these 2 rifles.i am not knocking the chinese it works perfectly and is very accurate. both of these SKSs are late production models built for export. the stock on the yugo is for sure stronger.the wood below the hand guard is thicker. what is your opinion. i am no expert.

The Type 56 as of late are exact copies of the Russian guns and spot on for quality. The Yugos I've seen don't hold a candle to them.

no chinese markings or stamps. only the receiver and bolt have serial #s. all it says is CNG or something like that. the yugo is a very late production approx 1978 66a1. it is a beautiful SKS. the metal is smooth,with nice bluing.
if you look at parts like front sight mount or gas piston block the yugo is much beefier.
i am very happy with both SKSs. the yugo looks like a polished well made gun, the chinese looks like something made for war like a 42-44 izzy Mosin.
