I caved and called Dupage trading and bought an M1 Garand. Intention is to change the barrel out for 7.62mm NATO so I can continue with a few calibers, but I'll see how I feel when I get it about that. Should ship on Thursday.

Good luck with that. I bought two Garands a month ago from Dupage and was so happy with them I bought two more.
0 to 4 Garands in a month. Going to order one from CMP as soon as I get the necessary documents lined up.
I already started with Mosins a few months ago and now have 4 of them as well...oh and there is a K98 in there somewhere as well.

Dupage - $675. quite a bit under $1200. yes its a mixmaster but better than not having one at all. add $80 for shipping and DROs and it's $650 so still 450 cheaper.Comment
