SKS Scope mount?

Which scope mount for an SKS is best? Many that I have seen attach to the dust cover, and would lose zero just from cleaning.

I got a dust cover mount for my aimpoint no issue with losing zero. How ever those are tricky pieces of aluminum, you may have to file down parts of it to make it fit. Do to much and it's junk. Fallow the directions and you should be fine. I would not pay more than 35 or so.

i have the cheapo dust cover mount on my YUGO. if you take your time and file the front tang without taking to much metal off they fit snug and will not loose Zero.my problem is the base has no way to allow adjustment. no matter what i try my scope starts out high right about 3 feet at 100 yards. i do not like to use the scope adjustment to make up that much error in the base. i tried a shim on the right rear base but so far no luck.

I have a Norinco dust cover mount and the thing almost never held zero. Am going back to irons. if I went back, I might consider one of those mounts on the gas rod cover and use a red dot or pistol scope.

Allans armory is selling yugo sniper/marksman sks. They are taped in side of receiver. Your not getting more solid then that. They dont sell the mounts but gives you direction if you want something used in real war time.

The mounts are around $40.. but uou need to tap
