So just got purchased 91/30 today, i already have a m38 that has a bent bolt for some reason. can i swap bolts between the rifles? also the real question, i really want to put a pu on it, what is the difference between the 91/30 and the 91/30 sniper variant. also ive found the pu and scope but i am not sure as to how it installs im sure i could figure it out but i dont have the rifle in front of me (10 day wait) to look at it. so how is the scope mount installed, if i am correct i need a bent bolt for it to work (swap with my m38) and then im good to go. has anyone have personal experiance doing this with advice. i tried useing search but couldnt find anything.

Yes you can swap bolts. Or you can just swap the middle section if you wanted to. Check out this page for detailed instructions on taking the bolt apart. It's very easy once you've done it once.
Better off just swapping complete bolts, though.

As far as mounting the scope, the receiver has to be drilled and tapped in the proper places to accept the mount. I'd recommend taking it to some one that know what they are doing for this.
