    JAPANESE ARISAKA TORTURE TEST

Eric and Barry are at it again!
I liked the way they finished it off!

Talk about a torture test there was a model 38 in 3006 still having the 6.5mm barrel it shot fine but kicked liked a mule. After a lot of testing there was no damage to the receiver.

Stupid waste of a fine WW2 rifle.

It's two bubbas destroying a firearm for entertainment purposes.

All the testing ever needed on a military bolt action rifle was performed 70+ years ago

I don't think it was their rifle. Someone gave it to them and asked them to do it.

This is my take on C&R's; The original purchaser has the right to do whatever they want with the rifle. In this case, they justified the amount of views and entertainment they will get from publishing the video, to be able to destroy the rifle. However, some day "Bubba" will be gone and the next generation that will enjoy these rifles most likely will enjoy them in their original configuration without bullet holes or a sporterized stock. I always encourage individuals to put down the sandpaper and varnish! Ackley did the same tests 60 years ago, so whats the reason?

                  Thanks

I like these guys too. The Mosin torture test was fine with me, but I don't know, an Arisaka is moving too close to sacred historical ground. I hope that I never see them perform a torture test on a K98.
