    Mosin trigger

    i am happy with the results of only polishing the sear surface that makes contact with the bolt and adding a very thin shim under the sear. it still has a safe pull. side by side with another Mosin i have the travel is shorter and my guess is it now has a 5-6 lb release , maybe 4 at the least. their are so many videos on doing this i just wanted to post my modest and reversible trigger mod. took me maybe 1 hr. i am not interested in grinding parts or polishing all the moving parts to the trigger and sear. if somebody wants more details PM me.

    Well done. I've messed with several of my MN triggers. The polishing certainly makes it smoother. What really makes it neat is called the Finnish trigger modification.
