I just sold one, fun to shoot, use a special bullet if .54 cal but easy to buy, work great with paper cartridge, Charlie Hahn has tubes that work great , mine used musket caps was a IAB set triggers great shooter.

Always thought they were neat. Now I need to find one that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

Should have bought mine But I would think you would be happier with a 45-70 Sharps shoot either black or smokeless powder.

Already have one and in the lookout for another or a Trapdoor.

But I thought the 1859 would be cool too.

I had a 1884 Marksman's Rifle, but I always felt bad shooting, so I sold it to a Calgunner who could appreciate it a little more than me.

If they don't I'd bet Dixie Gun works does.

Those are a lot of fun. They go really cheap on gunbroker, too, since all the reenactors have dumped their Zouaves for more authentic guns.
