Does anyone know the value of a Chinese Honor Guard SKS? I dont have pics as I have not bought it yet but soon will. What do I look for as far as markings? If it has paperwork documenting its history what should I look for? The only downnnside is they dont come with the bayonet or sling ;( THey are chromed parts and has a chromed bore. Any advice on what to look for and rescources online. Thanks yall.

The Chinese Honor Guard rifles were made from "regular" SKS type rifles by the Chinese. They can be found from various arsenals. They originally came with a "COA" as in the pic below. The serial number of the rifle will be on the COA.
The slings are harder to find than the rifles. Basically good luck unless your rifle came with it.
The below pic shows the correct leather sling with the chrome metal bits.
The bayonets are sometimes with the rifles, but often not. Most of the rifles had the blade bayonets, however I have seen a few with the spike. The bayonets are not serialed to the rifle.Poke'm with a stick!
