Shes a beauty. Are you trying to sell it or just wondering the value? If you are thinking of selling I would reconsider.......

My grandpa passed recently. We were close and shared some good times shooting/hunting. He left me a Winchester model 42- looked up the serial number and found it was made in 1934. Says "MOD" on barrel instead of "FULL" like cal2012's. He kept thing thing in great shape- some day it will belong to my son- really cool little gun!

Looks like a beautiful takedown model...something that might add a little more value is whether the adjustment sleeve is in good condition or near replacing. Check out this thread on Shotgunworld.com which explains how to tell if the adjustment sleeve is worn or not.
