Where to buy a decent k98

I had a little money come in from uncle sam, so I am going to do my part to improve the economy. I am looking to purchase a good k98 shooter. Not really a collector, but I would like a real german k98. preferably at a reasonable price. This may allow me to spread my money to multiple sources and improve the economy even more

I've always had good luck with Classic Arms. Bought a couple of K98s and other C&Rs from there.

+1 on Classic Arms.

One reason to buy there is that he posts a pretty decent description of each K98 rifle, so you KNOW what you are buying versus some generic K98 in 'good to very good' condition. Yes, you'll pay more for the good guns, but they are still under $300 for the most part.

Their other stuff is good also.

Classic arms seems to be the place that most prefer, but everytime I have been on their website they only have about 5 rifles listed. Do they ever put a greater batch up there? The other sites just list K98 with very little descriptions. the prices are low, but what am I going to get? Thanks for all of your help

Family Firearms and Finishes on surplusrifleforum.com has some real beauties. They are all hand-picked, and the hand-picker is very picky.
