    Am I importing if...

I bring home a rifle I own that has been kept at my mother's house in WA for the last 20 years? Rifle in question is a Winchester Model 94 manufactured in 1949. Tried searching, but search doesn't work on my phone. Thanks.

It's your rifle, bring it home.
Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.

C&R has nothing to do with the issue.

The bold section is all that matters.

Along as it is not a CA classified "assault" rifle, you are fine.
