Part of the Clip Loading Machine/M1

    Gentlemen,
This post is for some of the new guys. The Topic speaks for itself. These are for taking a 5 rd stripper clip and then loading it into a M1 Garand Clip. Mr. John C. Garand had put in for a Patent Office on Aug. 3, 1942. If you wish email me and I can post more.
I hope you find these data of interest.

Without input from you guys no one learns anything Try to put in some info/question and we can learn more of the M1's History

A word to the WISE for CONGRESS:
"You cannot invade America. There is a rifle behind every blade of grass." Admiral Yamamoto

Thanks again for taking the time and effort to read this data. I hope you have learned a little of the history of the M1 Garand.

Heh, never gave it much thought before. But someone has to be loading all those clips, don't they. I always imagined some gnome with a cast iron thumb working 10 hours a day pushing cartridges into them.

I have a pic in one of my books that shows a bunch of GI's taking M2Ball off of 03 strippers and loading en-blocs.. I believe the caption says the pic was taken in the S.Pacific in '43
