        Yeah, the only one.
Picked it up From Mad-Ox Firearms at the Glendale Gun Show a couple months back and only now got to the pics. Also came with bayo and a pristine bore. Sold as "unfired," and I believed it based on the overall condition of the piece. They got it as part of an estate sale. Not cheap, but what is? (I'll politely decline to state the price I paid.)

Do they not fire these when they finishing making them?

Don't they check function, accuracy, and siting?

By the way, that is a very nice looking rifle. I bet it cost a lot. You should not be ashamed if you did as you only get a rifle looking like that if you did pay a lot or a relative died and left you his rifle.

By "unfired" (in quotations) I just mean it never saw any real use beyond factory test firing. So maybe 5-10 rounds through it? Who knows? I just know that with a great rifle comes great responsibility! I already have an Enfield #4 shooter, so this will remain a safe queen — unless the Queen herself shows up at the range (and pays for her own freaking ammo, of course).

Naw, she prefers the SMLE over the No. 4...

I got one of the siblings to your's. Received it still "wrapped", like it came out of the factory. But, it's not a virgin anymore. It's fun to shoot and always a show stopper at the range...

I've got a couple myself. One I took out of it's mummy wrap (looks identical to yours with matching bayonet, mag, etc) the other one is still in it's mummy wrap (plan to pass that down to my son or daughter, whoever's a better shot).

Nice blond No 4 MK 2. I bought two of these back in 1994 when they were available from distributors. Nothing but quality.

Yours was built in 1955. Very nice!!

This is a really nice rifle.

I saw this when James (mad ox) first picked it up.

                              Congrats!
