    C&R renewal application questionnaire

Just got my renewal papers. I have a question about #6

"As required by 18 U.S.C. 922(g)(5)(B), ATF Form 5330.20 - CERTIFICATION OF COMPLIANCE WITH 18 U.S.C. 922(g)(5)(B) - has been submitted for EACH responsible person in the firearms or ammunition business or collection activities. (This form is a certification to citizenship.)

So do I fill up this form & submit it with the application?

    Help please:-)

Just check yes (provided you are a citizen). That is what it is. I'd suggest letting your original one lapse and then applying for a new one (same fee same form pretty much). You don't have to keep your bound book once it lapses and would be free to make any cash/carry sells that you may want to do before the new year in order to make new purchases or just liquidate some inventory. Just my $0.02 anyway. Better to always limit your liability whenever you can.

Sadly, I have only bought one SA Garand from CMP the whole 6 years:-( Have more patience than $$$

Do you guys record your CMP rifle purchase in your bound book?
