Im considering getting a CR in 7.62x54r i know nothing about CR so please help.

whats the best one to get at a price range of 200 to 400 make and model.

what do i look for when inspecting the rifle.

Well a good 91/30 Mosin Nagant is what you should start off with. They go about $150 to $250 nowadays, depending on who sells it. If you pay over $200 you are more or less getting ripped off.

There are many variants of the Mosins, but they get more expensive the rarer the variation.
