I would give it 6 out of 10, with 10 being pristine. Am I too generous? It does look rough. How does it shoot?

I didn't shoot it yet, bore is nice and shinny with strong rifling.

      is it that bad?

        it looks better than most

i mean come on you are probably going to shoot various russian stuff which is all over the map in bullet weight with a trigger than is harder to pull than a firealarm

and i dont know you but i'm betting you aren't exactly carlos hathcock

and you are worrying about the crown heck i bet a person could chop off the tip with an acetylene torch and it would shoot just about as good

If the bores not cromed recrowning should be fairly simple. The crome tends to be hard and chip

I say you shoot it and enjoy it. Mine's not that bad, but shoots well.

Shoot it. Should be no problemo.

I would call it fair. My ChiCom looks like the muzzle was used as a sledgehammer and it still shoots under 3 MOA with decent ammo.

i thought mine was pretty bad with a few dings buyt yours looks a little more damaged i think. Shoot it and test it out if your not happy with it you can sell it to me for a cheap price (with the crown damage and all lol). I thought mine would not shoot well but it actaually shoots pretty straight. When i got mine i also did not know anything about guns.

Shoot it, if you don't like it you can recrown it yourself with a electric drill, roundhead brass screw and lapping compound. Even a Dremel tool with a ball type stone mounted.
