    Argentine FN49 Reproduction Stocks

I'm looking for a source of reproduction stocks. Specifically, an Argentine FN49. Don't get me wrong, I love the beat to hell look but I also like pristine as well.

So I just wanted to see if anyone knew where I could find one and restore it to its former glory. Oh, and I'll re-blue it too.

Just kidding! I'm not that stupid that I'd re-blue it.

I don't think anyone is making repro stocks for the FN-49. Your best bet would be to find a ex Belgian stock and use that. They are still around.

I used a ex Belgian stock when I built this rifle.

Cool, thanks for the info. How much work do you think it would be to make it fit the Argentine?

Since the Argentine rifles have the cross bolt type stocks it should only be a matter of in-letting the wood to fit the Argentine made lower trigger guard/mag catch assembly. Easily doable.
