    Mosin Nagant

    I picked up a Mosin Nagant today for 250 at the gun show. I am wondering what markings should I look for to ID the year and that. Im wondering if it was oerpriced. Im happy either way lol There is not rust ecept for a very vry small size dot on the bolt carrier. The condition is very good I guess. ( I dont know how to gauge the condition) The reciver is laser etched by the importer. Thanks yall.

              generally, $250 is average for an all matching (serial numbers on bolt and receiver) in good condition. I would take some pictures of those symbols and marks, folks on here can give you some really good information about your rifle.

                  The year is pretty obvious on them but the rest we will need pics,$250 is a but high but all mine are big five specials ha.

                              Lol im thick skined so as bruital as you like just dont be nasty about it lol Im happy with the buy I just want to know more about it.... and maybe reianct some movie sceans lol A great story about the rife was when a Russian guy at the show saw it he lit up and was talking all abbout the famouse sniper that killed 800 germans. He loved the gun in his thick Russian accent.
