    Certificate of Compliance Question

On the FFL03 form it says that all attached sheets must have a name, address and ssn.

Does that include the CoC as well?

I ask because I already closed the envelope and would hate to waste a stamp. lol

In my experience, you don't need the CoC if you are a US citizen. I've never sent one in with an application.

I've also attached copies of former licenses without SSN on them.

However if were talking about wasting 1st class postage -- why not be on the safe side and open it up and add the info.

I send things like that by USPS Priority Mail. I have a USPS account; and print pre-paid shipping labels right from my computer. For $5.05 it's a good deal for the speed. If I mess up and need to open a PM envelope, I can reprint the label from the PDF the USPS site provides.

If you are really that cheap you could just tape the opened envelope back up or cut out the stamp and glue it on a new envelope. For that matter, I'll mail you a few stamps. I hardly ever mail anything and I got a bunch of the stupid 34 cent ones. I have to put two of them on anything I do mail.
