swedish m96 stripper clips will work with yugo 8mm mauser?

can anybody confirm this?
i was told that you can use swiss 6.5x55mm stripper clips to load with 8mm mauser and it will load into a yugo m24/47?

I've used 8mm Mauser stripper clips to load a 6.5 Swedish Mauser. I never tried 6.5 Swede clips in an 8mm Mauser. I can't test it either since I don't have an 8mm Mauser.

The Swede clip is most like an 03 or 7mm mauser clip in profile. Too thick to fit into the slot on a 98 mauser made for the 8mm round like the M24/47
