Timney Triggers for Nagants

I put the timney on one of mine. It's fantastic. A great trigger. -
Keep in mind, you will have to remove a lot of material from the stock. That trigger takes up a lot more space. I'm not talking about just for the safety.Comment

It's true that material must be removed from the stock so the Tim can fit. It's also true they're great triggers.
It is also true that altering the trigger in the Finnish manner yields equally nice results.

The trigger is already pretty good, what I has after was the safety and not having to fiddle locking the cocking knob.

I love the Timney trigger on my M91/30. I've gotten so many compliments from it. The guys at the gun store are impressed that young guys like me still like to shoot iron sighted C&R rifles.
Yes, inletting the stock was a pain, I have no wood working experience. If I could do it again I would have let someone who knew what they were doing do the job. I may or may not have relieved a little too much space in the stock
One thing to be aware, it might accidentaly fire when you close the bolt. I don't know what it is, but if you work the bolt too fast the gun will fire. I don't know if the action of working the bolt jars the gun too much or if the trigger group doesn't mate to the receiver correctly (there is barely any contact on the sear) causes it to discharge when working the bolt too vigorously. But be careful. I had a gunsmith readjust install mine once I noticed it was firing every other time I worked the bolt.WTB: Winchester /Miroki 1895 .30-06; No1. Mk. The safety should be in your head! The thing with firearms is that they are not like any other consumer product, simple ownership of one carries a lot of responsibility.
Some idiots are too busy knowing it all to ever learn anything
