How do you log in a C&R purchase if the seller did not send along copy of his C&R or driver license?

That is not always required for receipts.

The record shall show the date of receipt, the name and address or the name and license number of the person from whom received, the name of the manufacturer and importer (if any), the model, serial number, type, and the caliber or gauge of the firearm curio or relic.

All you really need is the name and address, unless it is an FFL, then you also need the FFL number.

I would keep supporting documentation, print out any email correspondence, a copy of the payment, etc.
