    Another C&R Question.

About 10 years ago, I have purchased a M48 Mauser from Mitchel's Mausers, but have decided to sell it to a friend.

Since I bought the M48 from a dealer, and I had to go through the steps in order to retrieve it at a local shop, do I need to go through the transfer motion in order to sell it to my friend? Or can this weapon be treated as a C&R transfer without any involvement of a third party?

    Thanks for your help

    Until 01-01-2014...
As long as the Yugo M-48 is 50 or more years old, then it can legally be transferred to another CA resident without the use of a CA FFL dealer.
