    Widener's FINALLLY ships my M44

And it was worth the wait! What a cool lil rifle. I bought the "excellent" condition for 209.00 +26 shipping. Bluing 96%( above the wood line anyway, havent disassembled yet) Even the muzzle crown is still nicely blued, my other 2 mosins (91/30's) the muzzle crown is bare steel. Rifling looks very good, no counterbore, bore is bright and shiny, 7.62 bullet is tight in muzzle, trigger is WAY better than my 91's. really a handy little plinker cannon, cant wait try it out.

Thanks for sharing. At least we know they're going out.

You're going to love it. Then, you're going to order 2 more.
Don't ask me how I know.

I received mine in January, bought it back in November, took them a long time to ship. I agree, mine is a beauty, love it. I never thought I would own five M44s but thanks to Wideners and SOG, I do.
