You just need to log them out in your bound book. If the long gun is > 50 years old, the buyer doesn't need a C&R license. But you'll still need to get their info; I'd recommend a copy of their drivers license and a signed statement that they are not forbidden to buy the gun. Handguns will need a 01.

Correct, but if you sell them out of state and need to ship them they have to go to either an 03 or 01 FFL. If you deal in state you can FTF with anyone that is not prohibited to own a firearm.

O.K. Let me get this right..50 years or older, the buyer need not have a c&r or need to go through a 01..Anyone can meet me face to face and make a legal buy..So i can sell it to a co-worker just like that..No dealer involved??

Correct, but myself and others like to be on the safe side and I request a DL ( I need that info anyway for my C&R) and have them sign something saying that they can legally own a firearm. But if you want to keep it simple "cash and carry" for a 50+ y/o long gun is just like it sounds. Pistols still need to go through a 01FFL though.
