Made a quick stop at the range this morning and fired the sported Swede with a cheek riser pad. I pulled the last shot high, but the rifle seemed to shoot better with the cheek pad.

Here are 5 rounds of Prvi 120 gr "match" ammo At 100 yards

I need to get out with some reloads...I think they would be better.

Thats a damned fine group, it likes those 120s. My 38 and 96 do best with 140s, my favorite is a 142gr Sierra.

Thanks, guys. There was a guy next to me at the range shooting a nice sporting rifle with a great big scope that wasn't getting as good as that group.

Prvi ammo isn't bad, but I've mange to best it, even the "match" Prvi, by handloading. I'm going to try and get to the range again before the military match on Saturday with some 6.5 reloads and zero this thing.

i have a sporter and an original and they're both stupidly accurate with 140s. i run sierra gamekings because they're about like the matchking, but you could hunt with 'em if you wanted to. gotta get out and shoot again so i can get some targets. i'll dig around and see if i've got an old one about somewhere.

Care to share your favorite load? I've got a bushell of 139 gr PMC bullets and some 140 gr Nosler CC and even a box of 142 gr SMK's.

I've worked up some loads for my Ljungmans with 4064 and Varget using the 139 and 140 gr bullets. Not sure how they will do in my Mauser.
