    Selling without a C&R

    So I know that you can buy a C&R gun without having a C&R ffl yourself but can you then sell the gun to someone else? Does it have to go through PPT at a dealer because I don't have a C&R ffl myself?

    I bought a MAS36 about a year ago but now I'm looking to slim down my collection and want to do everything by the book.

    No C&R necessary for you or a legal, California resident, buyer. Cash and carry, but do it before Dec. 31.

      FTF transfer no FFL involved is legal in CA (until Jan 1st 2014) for a Longgun over 50 years old, resident to resident, buyer over 18, non felon, non mentally adjudicated.

          Although it's not needed when I buy or sell a C&R long gun, I use something like this:
