      Looks cool whatever it is.
Try googling pocket or vest pistols.
Does it have any markings or serial number?

Auto model on the slide and Spain on the bottom by the mag well. It's a 32acp I believe. Possible 25 but I think he told me its a 32. The serial number is 21xx.

It may very well be a .32 and is definitely Spanish. The best source of info on these that I have found is the "Spanish Pistols" forum on www.gunboards.com

It would help if you followed the instructions on a "sticky" at the front of that forum and disassembled this "Ruby type" pistol and noted all the markings within and without. Then somebody could identify (maybe) the actual maker. The "maybe" is because many were made by small family shops and didn't have much in the way of markings.

It should have a date-of-proof code (a capital letter or a capital letter and a number) which will show DOM; there's a sticky to decipher that on the above-mentioned forum and on www.9mmlargo.com.

I would say that this is probably a 1920s vintage handgun, that is when the ".25-sized .32s" came into vogue in Spain. Of course, they're back (Seecamp, etc.) again.

Looks to be a knock off of a John Moses Browning designed 1905 also known as the FN 1906 and 1906VP (Vest Pocket) and "Baby Browning"

Look like a very cheap auto which has been not taken care of. Grip screw head stripped out......

It looks a bit like a Spanish Ruby Pistol, which was the secondary service pistol for the French army in WW1 and WW2.

It is a "Spanish Ruby Pistol," but one of the compact--civilian--versions that came out after WWI. However, "Ruby Pistol" is a generic term, which refers loosely to the design--there were MANY, possibly hundreds, of "Ruby" manufacturers with tiny to radical differences in the actual design and materials of their products. Some are fine, basic handguns. Some are crap: ill-fitted and made of sub-standard materials.

The term "Ruby" is a brand name of one of the more reputable manufacturers of these pistols. Like many popular brand names, it got used as a generic term, kinda like "levis" has.

IMO, there isn't an easier answer than what you already got. To find the actual manufacturer (or possibly not), you need to do some more work, as suggested.
