Hello all,
After seeing one of these bent bolts by "The Bolt Man" from the M39 forum, I would like to try my hand at polishing my M91/30 bolt to mirror polish. I have basic knowledge of metal sanding and polishing, but I am just wondering if anyone has done this before and have some suggestions on the best and quickest way to do this?
My 91/30 has no collector's value. I'm doing it simply as a fun project, and I'll be looking through a scope so reflections will not be a problem. I can think up ways to do it but my ways involve too many week nights so looking to shorten that if possible.
