Sig Sauer P6

Are these worth $479 in excellent condition with 2 mags and holster? or is there any place else I can get it cheaper than this?

I like these pistols because they are made and W Germany and police issued, some history to it. Are these as good as newer Sig Sauers, other than single stack magazine?

If you don't mind asking, how much did you pay for your P6? I really like the decocking mechanism and the trigger on P6. I do not want to spend close to $1000 on US made Sig Sauers, if it is a Sig it has to be German made.

West German Law Enforcement turn-ins flooded the market a few years back and the conditions ranged from "duty beater" to "exceptional." The lowest I seen was a friend of mine who snagged one for $390 or so 3 years ago(finish worn, lots of holster wear), and I saw one go for at a gunstore going for $499 about 4 months ago (okay finish, some holster wear).

they are excellent guns. i got mine for $380.

Sig has a customer service package on their website that for $144 +shipping, they ultrasonic clean them, replace worn parts, & install night sights.

got mine off here for $425 came with two pairs of sights and 5 magazines. sweet gun. Gonna send it into Sig to get worked on like ham mentioned.

I have a w German 226 and its my favorite pistol. It never has any failure and I can feed it anything. They were a lot less a few years ago but I would say that's the going rate for them now.

$479 today sounds reasonable for a unique part of history.

I just checked my records. I paid $340 in 2008 for mine.

It's a great value for a Sig. My biggest complaint for mine was the crappy sights. I replaced them with standard white dot/rear post sights and it's much better.
