I have about 5 NON-rearsenaled as MFG almost new looking collector grade russian sks's that i will be posting soon. As CnR Collector not a shooter I went for all matching original SkS's and never fired them.

I recently snagged one for 400 but that was pre-panic. The guns themselves are quality and generally in good condition, which establishes a baseline value of about $400. Add to that the recent panic, which has increased the cost of most semi-automatic rifles by 20-200% depending on type (mostly AR-15s and AK series).
Now since the AKs are priced out of the market, the SKS rifle is once more the back-up go-to affordable 7.62x39mm gun and those are getting snapped up too. This has driven the price up considerably. Some were selling for ~400-500 pre-panic and are now in the hands of scalpers demanding nearly double that and we're talking Yugos/Chinese, etc.
It doesn't mean people are paying 800-1k for an SKS though. The going rate for a basic beat up but functional example (be it Yugo or Chinese or whatever) is up to nearly 400 from ~200. Russians have been pushed up too, but not quite as much since many people in the market for an SKS want it as a gun first and a collector's item second. We're talking 500-600. You can shoot for 800 in hopes that someone will bite, but I wouldn't count on it.

This is based off my continual monitoring of the prices that I've been seeing on the WTS board (which has a number of scalpers) and armslist (which is mostly scalpers). Of course I don't believe that people are actually paying 1k for a Norinco SKS any more than I think they're paying 6k for an incomplete DPMS AR-15.

The ones selling on GB the last few days have been fetching phenomenal prices.

yeah, a Type 56 Chinese SKS with a chewed up stock is ~$400 so if imagine the Russian ones would fetch a higher price.
