Milled dust cover? shame about the stock but that is a unique rear sight. Picture doesn't show the scope rail but you got a good starting point.

    Cheers

That seems like a good price, although I'm not too in the know on these things. Aren't these super rare? how much do they typically sell for?

Oh yes about 1/8" in height. Same as MP44.

          Top M48 has K43 cover.

G/K 43s are pretty uncommon, but "panel cut" G43s are pretty rare.

              If it hadn't have been bubba'd it would've been a $4K rifle.

Watch out for fake G43 front sights. If you can use your fingers to press it tighter its probably a fake.

My experience with eBay is 50% fakes. I can't tell the difference until I get them in hand.

                    Good Luck

Well done! I've owned probably 15 of these over the years and still have three. All AC-45's and ones a dual lug that was re-barreled to .308. I use that at reenactments. Since it's been bubba'd pretty good I wouldn't go for expensive original parts as the value won't increase. If you plan to shoot it, get the gas piston kit and a late gas cylinder. (one or two holes) Early G43's were over gassed and will break parts. Milled G41 action cover is another nice plus and yours has the automatic cover intact. Excellent!

Have fun and feel free to PM me with any additional questions...

And Willkommen! I'll add that repo mags are a hit n miss. Often the ones marked Denmark will work as well as an original. The ones offered from Numerich or marked G43/K43 can be modified to work but once again, it depends on the rifle.

Not too scary for the price, I wish I had not sold mine, but after it went boom I never felt the same about it. By the way don't even think about shooting 50's yugo out of it. Bad things can happen. Another word of caution, these guns like to slam fire with new commercial ammo especially if you've put new recoil springs in it.
